On 18th November the final event of the project "Erasmus + for Lithuanian schools" took place in Žygaičiai Gymnasium. The main idea behind this event was to give students the opportunity to visit few countries and experience Erasmus+ in one day.
Students traveled to China to study Mandarin. Also had opportunity to talk about wedding traditions in Turkey and to learn Turkish wedding dances. Later they took part in presentation of Uzbek culture and tasted traditional homemade delicacies. Moreover, students even went to Africa, where they got to know the Nigerian dance culture and learned to dance themselves.
The day was crowned with a quiz about the European Union and participated in Erasmus+ poster drawing. 6 winning teams were awarded with various prizes: backpacks, notebooks, anti-stress balls and other souvenirs.
The students enjoyed the event very much and were interested in getting to know cultures of other countries and to talk with exchange students who are studying in Klaipeda State University of Applied Sciences.
