Erasmus+ Youth Exchange Renkler ve Kültürler Sahnesi/Stage of Colors and Cultures.
Students and staff from KVK recently participated in the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project “Stage of Colors and Cultures”, hosted by Balıkesir University in Türkiye. The project brought together young people from Lithuania, Türkiye, Italy, Romania, Croatia, and North Macedonia to promote intercultural dialogue through art, creativity, and non-formal learning.
The project aimed to address stereotypes, prejudice, and misunderstandings among young people by fostering mutual respect, promoting shared European values, and creating opportunities for intercultural learning. Through workshops, collaborative activities, and the preparation of a theater performance, participants explored cultural diversity, exchanged experiences, and developed practical solutions to common social challenges.
Throughout the exchange, KVK students strengthened their intercultural communication, teamwork, and creative expression skills while working in an international environment. They gained a deeper understanding of cultural diversity and inclusion, enhanced their ability to collaborate across cultures, and developed greater confidence in expressing their ideas through artistic and group activities. The experience also encouraged active citizenship, openness to different perspectives, and the creation of meaningful international connections.
Participation in international Erasmus+ projects such as “Stage of Colors and Cultures” provides students with valuable opportunities for personal and professional development, preparing them to become responsible, socially engaged, and globally minded citizens.
