Student Dormitory– 25 Debreceno Street

The student dormitory is located in the southern part of Klaipėda.

Students can choose dormitory in double or triple rooms. The rooms are arranged in apartment-style blocks. Each block consists of one double room, one triple room, a shared entrance hall, and a toilet. Shared kitchens and shower facilities are available on every floor.

The accommodation offers a gym, as well as comfortable study and recreation areas. Recreation spaces are equipped with table tennis, table football, and board games.

Each resident is provided with essential furniture for individual use, including a bed, desk, chair, and wardrobe.

A self-service laundry room with free washing machines and tumble dryers is available for all residents. Bicycle storage facilities are also provided.

For the safety of residents, the dormitory is equipped with a video surveillance system.

Klaipėdos valstybinė kolegija / Higher Education Institution  offers accommodation in student residences for international students, subject to room availability.

Before You Arrive

Please note:

  • Accommodation is not guaranteed and depends on room availability.
  • You can apply for a dormitory only after signing your Study Agreement and receiving your official KVK email account.
  • If no rooms are available, you will be placed on a waiting list.
  • You may need to arrange temporary accommodation until a room becomes available.

After Receiving a Dormitory Place

Your confirmation email will include:

  • Move-in date and time
  • Dormitory address
  • Monthly accommodation fee
  • Security deposit
  • Move-in instructions

 

 

Who can apply?

ONLY official Klaipėdos valstybinė kolegija / Higher Education Institution (KVK) students who have:

Signed their Study Agreement

  ✔ Received their official KVK email (@kvkedu.lt)


How to Apply

Step 1

Sign your Study Agreement.

Step 2

Activate your official KVK email.

Step 3

Complete the Dormitory Application Form.

Step 4

Send the completed application form ONLY from your official KVK email to:

Applications sent from personal email accounts CANNOT be accepted.

How Rooms Are Allocated

  • Rooms are assigned in the order applications are received.
  • Allocation depends on room availability.
  • If no rooms are available, you will be placed on the waiting list.
  • You will be notified by email as soon as a room becomes available.
  • If you decline the offered room, your application becomes invalid.

After You Apply

You will receive one of the following responses:

  • Dormitory place granted
  • Added to the waiting list

If you receive a room offer, the confirmation email will include:

  • Move-in date and time
  • Dormitory address
  • Monthly accommodation fee
  • Security deposit
  • Move-in instructions

Before You Travel to Lithuania

Please note:

  • You cannot apply before signing your Study Agreement.
  • You cannot apply before receiving your official KVK email.
  • You cannot move directly into the dormitory upon arrival.
  • You may need to arrange temporary accommodation until a room becomes available.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I apply before arriving in Lithuania?
No. You must first sign your Study Agreement and receive your official KVK email.

Can I use my personal email account?
No. Applications are accepted only from your official KVK email account.

What happens if there are no available rooms?
You will be placed on the waiting list and informed by email when a room becomes available.

What should I do while waiting?
Arrange temporary accommodation at your own expense
