My traineeship as a dental hygienist student has been immensely valuable. I gained hands-on experience in taking medical histories, performing radiographs, intraoral scans, and providing hygiene instructions. The opportunity to work with EMS ultrasonic and Airflow for scaling and polishing, and to apply pit and fissure sealants, has been particularly enriching. Additionally, learning digital design and fabrication of dental appliances, along with assisting in surgeries and restorative procedures, has significantly enhanced my practical skills and confidence in the field.
