My name is Nina, and I graduated from the Dental Hygiene programme at Klaipėdos valstybinė kolegija (KVK) in 2023. Today, I work as a dental hygienist in the Netherlands, and I am glad that I chose KVK as the place to begin my professional journey.
When I was considering where to study, KVK was one of the best options for my situation. The tuition fees were affordable for me, I had the opportunity to study Dental Hygiene in English and gain the professional education I needed for my future career.
Looking back, one of the things I value most about my studies is the support I received. My tutor and teachers were always there to help me throughout my studies. Their support made a real difference, especially as an international student adapting to a new academic environment and new country.
Also, what I particularly appreciate is that KVK’s support did not end with graduation. When I was going through the process of obtaining my professional licence in the Netherlands, I needed different documents from the College. Whenever something was required, KVK responded quickly and provided the documentation I needed. This support helped me greatly during the licensing process.
Thanks to the experience at KVK, I am now a successful dental hygienist.
