Study Tourism Business at Klaipeda State University of Applied Sciences

Imagine the perfect studying program that includes not only classroom activities and practice, but also travelling, visiting cultural and historical sightseeing attractions, and spending time in resorts and spa. It may sound impossible, but you can enroll in such program in KVK! It is called Tourism Business, and is aimed at training modern tourism industry professionals.

Since the studying program is available in both Lithuanian and English languages, there are international students, doing their Bachelor`s degree in KVK. They all come from different countries and even parts of the world, but it does not stop them from being good friends and feeling comfortable in Klaipeda.

“KVK is a perfect university for my course, where students study and also feel at home,” shares Joy Chidinma Opara from Nigeria. “I like everything about KVK. Faculty and administration staff is friendly, and it was not difficult to adapt in Klaipeda, even despite the fact that it is very windy here,” she adds.

“I have chosen KVK because of the availability of the program I needed, the optimal location and pricing policy for studies. Klaipeda is a very picturesque and quiet city, and its history is very interesting and rich. I really like the atmosphere here, the architecture and, of course, the incredible beauty of the sunsets,” comments Farrukh Sarimsokov. He comes from Uzbekistan, and likes volunteering during events organized in KVK. “I like the educational process and planned events, such as trips to different regions and excursions. The International Relations Department staff thinks through all of them, and gives everyone the opportunity to participate.”

“At first, I thought it would be quite difficult to study abroad, but then I understood that KVK was a good choice because of its friendly environment, teachers and interesting subjects. I like the way of learning, which is more based on the individual approach, and attention to detail in KVK,” Valeria Shukshina says. “I come from Ukraine, and at first, it was difficult for me to live in Klaipeda. But now I learn something new about the culture and lifestyle of Lithuanians every day, and feel comfortable with my studying routine.”

In KVK, there is an opportunity not only to become a keen specialist in tourism field, but also to find a lot of friends and like-minded people. “I would recommend KVK to other foreign students, and I wish to be an ambassador of the university one day,” adds Joy.
