What makes the programme distinctive

The Emergency Medical Care study programme features the consistent, integrated development of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, oriented towards real clinical and emergency situations. What makes the programme distinctive – modern simulation environments in which students can safely and realistically model a range of emergency situations, from injuries and acute conditions to mass-casualty scenarios.

In the simulation laboratories, using advanced manikins and equipment, students develop not only clinical skills but also speed of decision-making, teamwork skills and emotional resilience. This allows students to prepare to work under high-stress conditions, ensuring patient safety and effective care.

The content of the programme is based on evidence-based practice, modern technologies and international standards, with particular attention paid to telemedicine and interdisciplinary collaboration. Students gain experience not only in a simulated environment but also in real healthcare institutions, which ensures a high level of professional preparedness and competitiveness in the labour market.
