Title: Oral Health Week 2026

Physical programme: 20/04/2026 – 24/04/2026

Virtual programme: 17/04/2026

Short description: The Blended Intensive Programme “Oral Health Week 2026” focuses on the essential role of oral health in overall systemic well-being and aims to strengthen the professional competencies of future oral care specialists. Throughout the programme, participants will explore the links between internal diseases and oral conditions, deepen their clinical and communication skills, and take part in practical laboratory activities. Students will examine the current oral health situation in Lithuania and across the world, apply modern infection control principles, learn effective interdental cleaning techniques, and participate in clinical simulations. A special highlight of the week is the International Oral Care Competition, which encourages creativity, critical thinking, and professional engagement. Participants are encouraged to share their experiences, compare oral care practices across different countries, and learn from each other’s professional perspectives. This creates a dynamic learning environment in which students not only acquire new knowledge, but also develop cultural awareness, teamwork skills, and long-term professional connections. In addition to academic activities, the programme includes guided excursions, opportunities for reflection, and discussions aimed at strengthening public health awareness.
