Title: Use of geographical information systems (GIS) for the delivery of tourism resources

Physical programme: 29/04/2024 – 03/05/2024

Virtual programme: 22/04/2024 – 23/04/2024

Registration deadline:29/02/2024 (registration may be closed earlier if the full number of participants is reached)

Aim: To introduce students to the use of geographic information systems (GIS) for the creation of tourism products. During the training, students will create a static maps of tourist routes in ArcGIS Pro programme and prepare the presentation of routes in arcGIS online StoryMap application format.

Participants: Bachelor degree students, studying tourism business, administration, management, business administration.

Teaching Staff can also participate in this project as an Erasmus lecturer/coach/guest speaker.

ECTS: 3 ECTS

Working language: English, minimum B1 level

Number of Participants: 18

Benefits: accommodation (5 nights), coffee breaks, lunch on Wednesday, and leisure activities are covered by KVK.

Title: Contemporary Challenges of Management in Business Environment

Aim: To promote the integration of effective professional development management skills among students, emphasizing its role in today’s workplace. Throughout the training, students will gain insights into best practices, understand the main challenges of management in today’s business environment and cultivate a culture of continuous learning and development.

Participants: Bachelor degree students in management field.

Teaching Staff can also participate in this project as an Erasmus lecturer/coach/guest speaker.

Title: Smart Management of Personal Finance in the Digital World

Physical programme: 13/05/2024 – 17/05/2024

Virtual programme: 07/05/2024 – 08/05/2024

BIP description: The course is designed to improve students’ financial literacy and introduce the key principles of personal financial management for financial success using modern technological tools.
To achieve this objective, the following tasks are set:
– plan personal income and spending, keep debt under control and build an emergency fund;
– take responsibility for current and future financial situation and set realistic financial goals;
– introduce sustainable investment instruments and create a realistic personal budget.

Participants: Bachelor degree students of all study programmes.

Teaching Staff can also participate in this project as an Erasmus lecturer/coach/guest speaker.
