Goal
The main objectives of the project are as follows:
- To support the improvement of the quality of EU healthcare services by implementing Industry 4.0 concepts through relevant research, analysis, guidelines, and open digital education tools.
- To support the modernization of the EU healthcare sector by improving the qualifications of healthcare personnel and strengthening key competencies related to the implementation of Industry 4.0.
- Support healthcare personnel in keeping pace with developments in their sector by providing a systematic approach to initial and continuing vocational training for lecturers, instructors, and mentors specializing in Industry 4.0 healthcare services, initial and continuing professional development, as well as opportunities for such development in educational institutions and at work, by creating an open and innovative blended learning course.

Added value:
The added value of this project lies in its contribution to the modernization of the healthcare sector and its preparation for the challenges of Industry 4.0. The guidelines, training programs, and methodological tools developed help healthcare personnel acquire new competencies related to digital technologies, automation, and innovative working methods. The project strengthens the capacities of teachers, instructors, and mentors by providing them with a systematic and practical model for professional development. In addition, the open educational resources and examples of good practice developed ensure that the project results are widely applicable in both educational institutions and clinical practice, improving the quality of services and patient safety across the European Union
