The International Symposium “Design for the Future: Solutions for Environmental and Civil Engineering ‘25” will take place on 20 November, 10:00–14:00 at Klaipeda State University of Applied Sciences and online. The event brings together researchers and professionals from various countries to present innovative solutions in environmental and civil engineering.
The programme covers a wide range of topics, including blue-green infrastructure in urban areas, the use of open geodata, the impact of traffic restrictions on environmental pollution, technologies for monitoring underwater acoustic pollution, as well as solar and wind park site selection, public building pathology assessment, virtual reality applications in quarry design, and natural landscape protection.
The symposium also includes a presentation on the use of LiDAR technology for analysing urban green spaces in Klaipėda.
This event promotes international collaboration and the exchange of research-based insights aimed at fostering sustainable development and modern engineering solutions.
