Accounting Process and Reporting Placement (at the Institution)
Activities during the placement: During the placement, students maintain the accounts of a simulated company: they analyse business transactions, complete primary accounting documents, record account correspondence entries, transfer information into analytical and synthetic accounting registers, calculate the cost of production, maintain General Ledger accounts, prepare a working trial balance and compile a set of financial statements. This part of the placement is carried out at the Institution, under the supervision of a lecturer.

Activities during the placement: At a real company, the student not only becomes familiar with the organisation of accounting work and collects data for writing a course paper, but also has the opportunity to compare the accounting model of a hypothetical company with the accounting practices of a real company. This part of the placement is carried out at a company, following the methodological guidance and assignment set by the placement supervisor.

Having completed the professional placement, students will be able to formulate accounting policy, maintain the financial accounting of an economic entity, calculate and adjust the cost of production, and prepare financial and tax reports.

Production Cost Calculation and Budgeting Placement
Activities during the placement: Having completed the placement, the student will be able to classify and analyse costs for various decisions, evaluate them by explaining how they arise, identify reserves for reducing costs, allocate the company’s indirect costs and calculate product cost price, determine operating results using various costing methods, and prepare the company’s operating budgets and financial forecast reports. The placement is carried out at the Institution.

Accounting Information Systems Placement
Activities during the placement: The placement is designed to develop practical skills and abilities in working with accounting information systems: entering constant and variable information and business financial transactions using individual program modules, and generating reports. The following software is used: Rivilė GAMA, Finvalda, STEKAS PLIUS. The placement is carried out at the Institution.

Final placement
Activities during the placement: Having completed the final placement, students will have acquired the practical professional skills of an accounting specialist and be ready to enter employment; they will be able to record data in the accounting registers; they will understand the data-processing capabilities of accounting information systems; they will be able to submit data to the i.MAS (Smart Tax Administration Information System), prepare financial and tax reporting, and analyse the company’s operating data. The placement is carried out in a company or organisation.

Students can choose or find a placement in Klaipėda city, Klaipėda district, the Western Lithuania region, or anywhere else in Lithuania or abroad. These can be businesses, public institutions, or state organisations.
Final placements are carried out at:
